Terms of Service

Last updated 21 September 2026

1. Agreement

These terms govern your use of AmazonCrawler (the “Service”), an API that returns structured data derived from publicly accessible Amazon pages. By creating an account or sending a request with an API key, you agree to them.

2. Independence from Amazon

AmazonCrawler is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or in any way officially connected to Amazon.com, Inc. or any of its subsidiaries. “Amazon”, “AWS” and related marks are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. We claim no rights in them and use them only descriptively, to identify the data source.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your API keys secret and for all activity under them. Notify us promptly if a key is exposed; you can revoke any key yourself from the dashboard at any time. One account per organisation unless agreed otherwise in writing.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, and include a monthly allowance of API credits. Allowances reset each billing period and do not roll over. Requests beyond your allowance are refused rather than billed, unless your plan explicitly permits overage at a rate published on the pricing page at the time of use.

Card payments are processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your card details; billing information you enter at checkout is held by Stripe under their terms and privacy policy.

You may upgrade, downgrade or cancel at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain full access until then. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.

5. Acceptable use

Your use of the Service is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend an account that breaches it, that materially degrades the Service for others, or that we are legally required to suspend.

6. Your responsibilities for the data

The Service returns information derived from publicly accessible web pages. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your collection, storage and use of that data complies with all laws, regulations and third-party terms that apply to you — including any agreement you have with Amazon. We do not grant you any licence to Amazon's content or intellectual property.

7. Availability

We aim for high availability and publish live status and incident history. Except where a written SLA applies to your plan, the Service is provided on an “as available” basis. Upstream sources change without notice; where a page becomes gated or client-rendered, affected endpoints return an explanatory note rather than fabricated data.

8. Warranties and liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced by email and on the changelog at least 30 days before taking effect. Continuing to use the Service after that constitutes acceptance.
